Equipment Update

amongst other things. Mr. Killian has offered to develop a list of
'needs.'
Fund Raising
- The Senior Patrol leader identified that the
troop is interested in volunteering for activities that would result in a
donation to the troop.
- Wreath sales
- Minimum of $150 per Scout is required
- It was proposed that the Troop will cover
the Tomahawk outing for Scout's who sell over $1000. It was contrasted
against a proposal to credit the Scout's campership for every dollar sold. It was agreed to
give each Scout a credit for each dollar sold.
- Pricing will be
reviewed with the leadership at the September 22nd meeting
- Bringing back the 48 inch wreath this year
- It was proposed that the area be divided up
and each boy asked to cover a portion. It has been reported that some
people would like to be called upon, but no Scout's have called
- In the past, Scout's have collected the
money when the wreaths were delivered. They are going to be encouraged
to collect payment when they take the order to make delivery easier.
- Sales are to begin September 29th
- It was proposed that funds in the Scout's
campership, that have not been used within 2 years of earning it, will revert
to the Scout troop.
